theres about 20-30 servers with Nations @ War mod!
I played it and i say that the helicopters handling should be not changed because the warhawk is like about 50kg weight and turns too fast!
      Change the handling back plZ!
And another good thing: this game has all SF and EU weapons taken directly from the original SF expansion and same with the Euro Force weapons!
And is this Mod ment to be an serious one or like surreal? Because the weird pictures on the heli's and weird tires on the jeeps/buggys look like racing tires!
Theres also a shi*load of equipment in any kit u choose Also Sprinting is very long tooI This mod doesent seem very realistic!
ll give it a 7 out 10 points!
Ill wait for the Desert Combat!:)

Actually that's not true, we have only used BF2 weapons (and our own), and new content that was added to original BF2 through the EA official patches.

Some of them also just happen to be in the Xpacs.

Ohohohoho. LOST VILLAGE!! Man, I miss that map. Is it the same as the one from Desert Combat?

I also like it that there is a Canadian team(at least, I think there is without having installed it yet). They should be modeled after Canada's JTF2 for best affect. :)

What order should I install them in?

It really doesn't really matter what order....but it would be good to do NAW MOD first, then map packs.

This is a great mod, although it seems that every server I join I have serious lag issues when my ping is only around 120. I just hope more servers that are closer will upload this mod.

I like the idea of playing as diffrent nations and having a full arsenal of weapons at my disposal.

Maybe you could make it so that different squads are different nations instead of the kits? And change the icon of the teams instead of having an American flag and a Chinese/Mec flag? Just some of my suggestions.

Awesome job, keep up the good work.

Looking forward to the mod, but as an experienced mod releaser from the past, you should not have multiple downloads for a single mod, you should repack everything thats up to date and pack it all in a single zip or rar file. To be honest, this ClusterBuck of multiple files is a big turn off for downloading this huge mod. You didnt even post instructions (the most important part if you have multiple downloads, as we see here) on the main page!! I had to dig through these forums to find out what i'm supposed to download. After all this crap and all these hoops you guys are making us jump through, which is completely unwarranted, and makes me think you guys are being lazy, then this better be good!!!

Yeah we could have uploaded a 2.2 GB exe and hopefully that would have been re-uploaded to other host's uncorrupted. L$D-Wrath have you ever uploaded a 2.2GB file to anywhere? It takes a long time even with a good connection to upload and then push that around the internet.

If we did that we would have listened to all the crying and bytching that would insue because someone had only downloaded 1.9Gbs when the server reset, thus wasting his time and the server host's bandwidth.

If I was really lazy I would have done that instead of creating 6 packaged exe's that tried to cater to everyone.

                      ...but theres always one guy...

The instructions are there in their forums. I thought the map pack was kinda weird, but the download wasn;t bad. I used the free Filefront and had all three downloaded - the 3.9+mappack3, map pack 1 and 2 in less than 1 hour. That's not bad compared to some of the others I have tried including DCFX. I think everyone is just too impatient now that vanilla BF2 has run its course and people are eager for new content.

I agree that Vulcan Island is a Gem - great sniper map too.

Oh and the AG helos like the King Cobra have AG lock-on missles from the pilot. It is the same HUD from the bombsite for the jets.

I agree we should give the gunner something else to do, but then again in DC - they only had guns as well.

                        Solid MOD guys, thanks.

I said im looking forward to the mod, like i stated, better instructions need to be placed on the homepage so WE understand whats going on. Pointing me out as the "one guy" is very rude, and bad customer service since all im trying to do is give proper feedback. Since the dowload is so huge, for each mappack, and the mod itself, instructions need to be given on the homepage, and i mean detailed instructions explaining why theres multiple files and the reason for it, otherwise you'll end up ellaborating on it like you just did here. So save yourself the headache and post the friggin instructions. Thank you

I gotta say I agree. No one should have to hunt for instructions anywhere for something so large. It was a little confusing for a second for me so I can imagine what someone who knows very little about computing might feel like.

I think the tone in your first post, L$D-Wrath, was mis-construed as an attack, but you did start off saying you were looking forward to trying the mod, unfortunately, the rest sounded a little, uhm, angry.

And for your part, PuckerFactor, the tone of your response was not necessary. If your going to develop things for public consumption, you need to have thicker skin. A simple acknowledgement that it is a little unwieldly and it will be more streamlined in a future release probably would have went a lot further than sarcasm.

So now it's two guys, I guess? :)

Now let's all shake hands and come out shooting. Kay? :)
