Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Update

The team behind the Forgotten Hope 2 mod are back today with a new update. They are showing off a new tank in this small progress report. Take a look:

First of all we would like to welcome Major Hartmann and Master Minder back to the team. Both felt it was time to get back to work instead of enjoying their boring retirement and we are really happy to have four more capable hands helping with the development of Forgotten Hope 2. Welcome back boys!

Today we have the first skin created for FH2 by our newest member Jimbob. We hope you enjoy his work as much as we do and that you will give him a warm welcome! Jimbob's project is the British Cruiser Tank VI Crusader Mk III.

Jimbob is no joke. I dont really like historical sombat games, but some of the ebst artists design them, so I will be all over it. Keep up the good work bro.

I installed BF1942 to play FH (and normal BF42) and it's still a lot of fun.
Can't wait for the BF2 version of FH.

You r on my mind. Really cant understand all that delay buy many mod teams. Bf2 itself will be outdated itself in a reasonable time period. Just realease. It doesnt need to be the final release of the mod. It can be patched afterwards.

The game isn't even out for a year and you already want total conversions to be released?

I agree with Eglaerinion here that you guys expect too much. FH2 is full conversion, so pretty much everything has to be done from scratch, yes the mod will intially release in a desert theater but it's also in a time frame from 60 years ago so hopefully once again that'll give you the understanding this is going to take some time.

Sure there are alot of mods that are in the works right now, showing off lots of work and still having lots left to do, but can't everyone just be patient? Everyone knows good things come to those who can wait, just imagine if there were no mods then everyone would be sour.

I know I'll contently wait for FH2's first release because I know, just like FH1 that with strong community support and patience, like FH1, FH2 will grow and mature to become a great mod that will once again last the test of time.
