The team behind the French-speaking BF2 mod Stargate: La Relève have posted up a new update today. They have some new media to show us all. Here's what they had to say:

Sorry, there was no news in March, we wanted to wait a bit, to show you more interesting things. The following pictures are just the work of our modeller black-turn, who wanted to show us his work and he want to know your come back about his models. Of course, those screens aren’t the final work … It’s just to show you that the mod is still working!

yay finally a stargate mod updating!!!!! i love stargate and when euro forces came out the p90 made me not be able to wait for the stargate mods to come out this ones gonna be sweet!!!!! I love x302 and prometheus, does anyone else like stargate?

does anyone else like stargate?

I do Watch both Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, however season recently ended. 've watched it for years now an a Stargate mod would be awsome. Definantly looking forward to this.

oohh, there going to have a big problem compleateing that mod, I hope they have permition from MGM because they have already shut down 3-4 other stargate mods for various other games.

3-4 is conservative. I remember there being a few different SG mods for Half-Life 1, Half-Life 2, Tribes 2, BF42 as well as other random ones. MGM shut them all down.. Tbh, I'd love to see an SG Mod as I've been a SG nut since Series 1 aired on Sky One back in '97. It's a pity to see MGM shut them down as there were quite a few with some seriously good work and great ideas.

Anyway, best of luck. If ye do make it to a release, then I'll definitely be picking it up, but beware of receiving an email with "cease and dissist" on it :cry:

I'am a developer of mod SGLR. Without making **** EA, they cannot send email because we let us not have an email on the site or they can join us :p

Oh jesus, the FPS looked so promising. I cant see how SG1 could possibly convert well to an mmo though. I'd actually be happy with a Planetside style of SG1 game. Opportunity wasted really.
