Have you seen the previous updates and screenshots, some real crackers amongst them, especially from Wolfi's little photbucket collection.

Urge you to give USI a go, when it comes out, think Markhawk was a little modest in what to expect from USI. Think you will find the things that USI will bring, in what mind is a first beta release, excellent and renew your battlefield thirst. The new maps are immersive and fun to play, the new models and skins look excellent and there is plenty to suit varied playing styles

I purchased the EF booster pack to compare it too what USI is gonna bring you when released. USI is gonna be better, guarantee that.(and probably less buggy - at least we admit were in beta ). Unless your a stats monkey, keep your Armoured Fury money and give USI a go

    ROCK !

But it is no contest, we have our own fanbase.

Anyways, no one said you have to like our updates. If you dont, its your opinion.
My suggestion: Throw in some constructive critics instead of saying "PoE looks better!".
If we get constructive crits, we can try to make it look better.

BTW actually Burning Oilfields isnt the best map to show stuff,
the lightning wasnt made for taking Screenshots to represent our skins :p

Whoever wrote that, actually we have 2 camos for the iraqi team and one for the US team
word. I think you can´t really compare USI with FH or Battlepaint

POE is nice too. But more important is the gameplay. Nobody know how it will be, only the dev´s and some tester.

And I think that USI looks better then POE. I love the dirt on the BRDM. Great. And I hope that we can play all these mods soon together.

Great Job wolfi, the burning oilwells create a really dark atmosphere...

          Very Nice.
I especially like the use of camo on the tank, with the use of all kinds of weapons in bf2 its nice to kinda, sorta get hunkered in without being seen. (for long that is)
I'd like to see more, hard to see armor/vehicals.
Perhaps even some sort of Deployable (think deployabable sandbags/barbed wire from desert combat) netting that one can deploy over a humvee/tank etc.
I'd also like to see, the targeting alert system for planes and helos to be taken OUT. With UAV, VOIP, we dont need a big X over our heads too. Flame On.

Moding is a ton of work and a lot more to it than most people understand. Its always great to get constructive C&C but USI is doing a damn fine job if you ask me.

I would like to say sorry to the US intervention modders. I REALLY didn't mean put your mod down. I know that this is not a excuse but if I was sober while posting I would have chose my words better or just kept my thoughts to my self. I know you all put in a lot of work making these mods for the community. I am sure your maps are going to turn out great. Guys keep up the great work and thank you for your personal time you put in to making mods for the community for free. Again I am sorry for my post earlier.

All of the stuff looks great. I just hope that you guys(USI Devs) WON'T include BF2's Chinese maps...Please don't.

p.s.: About PoE vs. US:I thing...Personally, I think that USI has better ground vehicle skins, they looks more real, while PoE's look like plastic - only some of them. - Not starting a war here, just stating my opinion

I Love the POE Hind (Drool), Don't get me wrong I like my Hinds but that POE looks just as good in-game then it does in the renders.

I think alter egos are at work here.................personally I like POE alot.....without the help of D-fast alot of these mods would never hit the shelves.....He deserves props all around, and is one of the best modders in the buisness...and someone to be recognized.

Chinese maps aren't to be included in the first release.

The new Iraqi Camo for Spec Ops guy still has that MEC flag/logo on his hat and left arm. Shouldn't it be changed to Iraqi Flag?

lol guys.. Please don't compare Mods..
every Mod means a lot of work and many hours of despair :-)

It's not the target to be the best mod, a target should just be to make it better than EA :-)

And that's USI definitly.. well, for BF42 we just had 3 mods which was really popular -> DC, FH and EOD and with Vietnam it was just PoE..

The BF2 Engine allows much more flexibility and much more great mods..
USI, PoE2, FH2, EOD2, OPK, BF1918, PR and much much more.. there are many good mods at developing..

Every mod will have good things, some more, some less..
PoE has a really good fame from BF:V and USI is a rising newcomer with many potential.

so.. that's my 50c.. keep up the good work
