Point of Existence 2 Mod Update

It's that time again folks; the <a href="http://www.pointofexistence.com/" target="_blank">Point of Existence 2</a> team is back today with a massive update. They have all sorts of new goodies to showcase, in and out of game. Take a look:<blockquote>So we wonder if anyone has been picking up on our subtle little hints that we have been making lately. The community has been asking and we agree – our mod needs some winter based maps! This weeks news is dedicated to the winter wonderland that we hope our fans will enjoy. Spitfire has taken the time to update the German Soldier skins so that they will blend with the snow backgrounds. Just a reminder, the models are the original ones developed by Dice and will be till we have more time to dedicate to creating our own.<p>Armored vehicles will be a fun target when sighted in using the Russian made AT-4. Daarken and The Testing Team did a great job assisting Illicitfilms so that they could provide another great short flick for your viewing pleasure. It takes a lot of time and effort to provide enough footage for such a short teaser movie. These guys came together at the last moment and did a great job working together. We want to thank the community websites that were able to provide download links for the movie also. First site is ST3-Games which is providing their 1,000 user download server so that you can have a fast download. Second site is the great Total-War Tournament which is a Tournament community that has been supporting POE since the beginning of our mod. i'm from arizona - what's that white stuff on the ground in that map?

also - do the wheels retract on that hind? The sexiness on that chopper increases 24% when the wheels go up.

Indeed Troy, what is this white stuff. It's almost as weird as this water falling from the sky, I have been looking at the sun for 140 days and all of a sudden i hear water and BAM rain rain rain.

Anyways POE Team, Greatly amazing Update. The Snow Map and Skins go together so well. I love it so much. The Hind skin is great. We all know that but snow is something BF2 has lacked since DC became this HUGE success. Damn Desert, I hate the desert and I live in one but just to let everyone know I am a New Yorker who loves Snow, Snowboarding, and Rain. This Mod looks awesome. Love it!

ok i lived in Pheonix AZ for 5 years (gilbert to be exact) lol you want to find out what that white stuff is, drive north for about an hour or 2 to flag and you will find out very quickly! and yea im the one in the AA, lol getting owned! lol

Haha I know what you're saying man. Was out to dinner and a movie tonight and driving in the rain, it isn't very fun, especially after 140 days. It's cold out there! :p

just got done watching the movie and WOW. That was a well made movie, very theatrical. I loved the convoy and the wings. Reminded me of no fly zone.

You've got yourself a very cohesive team down there. That teamwork is paying off in organization and speed of development and innovation.

Hats off for that.

Now - lets see some cup-holders in those jets.
