We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.

It's been stated before that most of the AT missile bugs, guns reloading, scope going away etc. are all net code bugs. Those issues will never go away completely because there will always be a possibility of miscommunication between client and server.
Ok, well if they reduce the misfires to 1/5 instead of the current 3/5 then I'll be happy.
OH YOU WHINERS STOP BITC HING ABOUT THEM RELEASING THE PATCH A MONTH LATE AND THE BOOSTER A MONTH AND A HALF LATE,
jk obviously they fing let us down for so long, i am bored with the idea of euro forces now cause they let out all of the weapons a month early so everyone has already used them and there are many custom maps that are much better than the euro forces 3 non 64 player maps, cmon man and at least they should make the battles massive and have more than 2 planes and helis and tanks per team why dont they make an fing carrier battle at sea like ww2 and have 4 carriers on 4 with 5 planes on each that would be sweet, in bf42 they had moving ships but in this they couldnt even do that wtf. anyways this better be good cause i waited for it sooooo long
Unfortunately I have to report two bugs so far, both related to the "red blue bug". Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not complaining on a whim:
1) I was killed by the enemy but it said "team kill"
2) I played as medic and was given the health info of the enemy as if they were my own. Know that bar that shows up on a dead guy? Was on the enemy too. I tried to revive him until I realized what was going on.
Some valid points and some silly bitching (you're allowed to say bitch btw). In all honesty though, even I'm starting to get tired of the mistakes. BF2 is by far the best game that there is, and in that aspect we should give them the benefit of the doubt that the code is super complex and just amazingly hard to fix after it's already been released. And I'm okay with that; personally.
Their explainations make sense. If you try to fix one thing, you might ruin 10 other things. I haven't been here since the release, so I can't say what's been fixed, nerfed or ruined. My fps dropped from about 90 to about 80 with this patch , but my computer has been screwing up lately so it's probably that, not the patch.
If what I stated as being the remains of the Red Blue bug are all there are, then it's simply an exploit that helps out medics on the opposing team. In the active field, it won't be that much of an exploit. It's more confusing than helpful, and I wasn't able to revive the other team's players.
I support EA, and I give that support based on the fact that they have a presence here. They obviously care. Any fool with a mind for buisness knows that every "bad" patch hurts them. Not only does it tarnish their image, but it also hurts their wallet. Since 1.2 didn't live up to it's name, and 1.21 didn't live up to it's name (even before it was released), even less people will buy Euro Force than planned to. They are a buisness, and that hurts them.
Everyone thinks that fixing things is easy. They like to think that EA is a bunch of idiots. But that runs against every model of personal and corporate buisness , if you know how the figures you're looking at work.
A standard home buisness is expected to be in the red for over a year before turning a profit. A corporate buisness is only aplified in that aspect. When you add in how many employees they have, how much the DICE buyout cost, and the limited input of money from shareholders and game players (especially when things turn out as bad as they have been lately for EA/DICE) you'll see that the only explaination is that, unfortunately BF2 is pretty much at where it's at. There'll only be small fixes from this point forward. Waiting for the holy grail of patches is just going to waste your time and patience, and make you anti-EA, which is silly, because it's quite obvious that the next battlefield game will rockem and sockem. Do you really think they haven't learned bigtime from this?
In the end though, it's all in the player, and about half of hte players will always complain regardless of the gamepay and bugs introduced. Like I said in another thread, I'll put money on the bet that no one, team or person alone, can put out a mod that's basically a community released patch that makes BF2 the perfect game everyone thinks it should be. If you do so, you'll not only get a cash prize from me, but you'll win over the entire community of a couple dozen thousand large, and either you'll be bought out by EA for hundreds of thousands of dollars, or put them out of buisness. How about that for a dare?
if you guys think that ea trying to fix problems and getting a something messed up but then come out with a new patch shortly after words i hate to see you try to play novalogic games. we waited a year to get a patch for joint ops and with it added things like hit indicater and kill cam (points to the person that killed you) both of which really sucked. but did fix a couple things but now they have that out we won't see another for a year if we are lucky but we'll prolly have a new game rather then fixing the one that is popular.
anyway at least ea is trying. stop bitching it could be alot worse.
