Well, I haven't downloaded yet but I'm afraid of incrimentals because when they fail, the patch no longer identifies what you have as the previous patch, and thus you have to start all over. So, in all honesty, in prep for 1.21 (which I expected to come out tomorrow), I bought COD2 so I don't freak out when I don't have a game to play. COD2 kicks butt! But only in single player. It's graphically superior to BF2, but the multiplayer version is just Counter Strike revamped. And even that's saying a lot. I love BF2!!! But man, COD is really intense. Thank god too cause if this patch does bad things, and if I didn't have this other game to fall back on, I'd probably do bad things =P

Probably to my computer too. Poor poor computer...

I believe you that you are, but the link leads me to a 404 and there is no mention on battlefield2.ea.com even after clearing my cache. Anyway, it only took a couple of seconds on Filecloud so here goes...

No servers? NOOOO! maybe I won't install just yet. Thanks for that heads up! I want to play tonight. I'll wait until the servers patch.

How about you try it before you bitch. The last "fix" in the list is a multitude of fixes.

I would, but I know it will probably be tomorrow before any/all servers switch over to the latest patch. Plus, I see no mention of the RED Name Tag Bug, or the AT(and other weapons) misfire, or shoot through stuff. Now, if all this is included as apart of the last "Fix" then great, but I highly doubt it since ALL of the above mentioned bugs have been around since the release and soo far EA/Dice have done nothing about it.

How often do you have to wipe the drool off your face?

The patches are the same server or client. The problem will be is that Ranked servers are hosted by partners and they will be a little slower getting the patch installed. It is to be officially released tomorrow and until then you will probably not see many servers. However there are some out there as a previous poster stated and proved by providing a handy little link.

Yeah, Ravenholme IS pretty creepy. HL2 is by far the best single player game I've ever run across. Even beats out COD2 hands down. (Course, completely different subject matters and approaches so doesn't make sense to compare the two). It's funny, because HL2 has parts that can be compared to almost every game out and every game COMING out.

1) Starship troopers. Those sand things (not the head biters, the big alien things that you end up controlling with squeezy powder things. Sorry if I'm getting too technical, on my freetime I'm a molecular bye-all-oh-jist)

2) Quake Wars- Well, basically the whole game heh.

That's enough. Two's enough. Though example 1) is a game that sucks and 2) might rock.

Wrong.....And wrong.

All of these bugs were created by the 1.2 patch and the patch notes cover the AT rockets.

Fixed the error in Client - Server communication causing sound, animation and other sync issues.

Like I said, that last line is a whole multitude of fixes. I cant say whether it's actually fixed, but just because 20+ fixes are reduced to a single sentence doesn't mean they missed it.
