There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.risingconflicts.com/" target="_blank">Rising Conflicts</a> mod website. They have a new model to showcase. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>The Abdallah Al Faris Company for Heavy Industries announced today that it has been awarded the purchase contract for 144 Al Fahd AF-40-8-2 Armored Fighting and Reconnaissance Vehicles by the Brotherhood of Arab Nations Mutual Defense Force. This is the latest move by the BoAN to update its military from 20th century Soviet and NATO hardware to a state of the art fighting force with training and equipment comparable to any of the European Union.<p>The addition of the Armored Fighting and Reconnaissance Vehicle (AFRV) variant of the Al-Fahd to the BoAN arsenal will greatly increase its expeditionary and urban warfare capabilities. With a gross vehicle weight of 16300kg (~36000lbs) the AFRV is easily transported intra-theatre by the C-130J or larger aircraft. The AFRV's high speed (90km/hr paved and 65km/hr terrain) and relatively quiet operating noise levels make it perfectly suited for the BoAN's quick strike and reconnaissance units, allowing them to seemingly appear out of nowhere, perform their assigned mission, and disappear. Its amphibious capability allows it to cross water obstacles that would stop heavier APCs favored by BoAN’s opposing forces.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/alfahd.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_alfahd.jpg"></a></center><br>This mod seems to be progressing quite well. We're pretty sure that it actually has a 40mm cannon mounted upon it. I've been meaning to wrestle Shawn or MP to confirm.
But there are of course, less armed versions that would say work as a mobile, armored, troop transport and/or ambulance. I mean, surely a vehicle that can hold 12 folks, and swim could surely be useful for something...

Master Shake i here that alot more media / more intensiveupdates will be coming, we dont like to release until its 100% and its what you will actually see ingame, no photochopping it etc.
