After quite a long break, the team behind the Line of Fire mod are back today with a new update. They have some progress news and new media. Take a look:
Finally, months after the last update, we have some more to show and some more in reserve. With the work that’s been going on behind the scenes, we should be able to release media updates frequently here on in for a while and as a result, you should hear more about LoF in the near future. Now onto business.
First off, excuse time; we’ve had some issues with certain unreliable hosts and unexpected events occurring throughout most of the developers lives over the past while and as such development slowed quite dramatically. But that being said, plenty was completed including things from models, to skins, to coding, through to animations and effects, It’s all coming together nicely.
Throughout the past few months we’ve had some team dev changes as well, sadly Thumper as left us to proceed further with a career opportunity in the animating sector and Akuma decided to retire as he had schooling commitments. On a brighter note we did recruit JungleLord, Hostel and Heather, each of which model static objects and will continue working on our custom statics to create a new experience through new scenarios and battle styles The final new member is Ulyses who will be modelling the more dynamic models such as weapons and vehicles.. So we wish the best for Thumper and Akuma and hope to hear more from the newly recruited four.
And on a final note, Line of Fire is currently searching for talented skinners, animators and coders mostly. Whilst we realise that these are some of the most sought out jobs, we hold out in hopes that people will answer the call.. Any help we could get would be greatly appreciated and well worth the effort of applying in the end. So drop over to the Line of Fire mod website and check it out. Don’t forget to apply. Either post on the forums or email the team at lofinfo@gmail.com.

Great to see this mod is still alive and very impressive screens.
