    Battlefield Apocalypse Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.bfapocalypse.com/index.php" target="_blank">Battlefield Apocalypse</a> mod website. They have a new model to show in many different colors. Take a look:<blockquote> We have another update for you. This time, we're showing off the Ducati, and we need your help. We've just recently started getting into building our vehicles, since many are still in the design phase. Currently, this Ducati has four different skin colors and we're taking a poll to find out which color you like best.

This is another opportunity for you, the gamer, to be a part of the Apocalypse Design Team. Which skin will win and become a permanent fixture in the mod? Vote for your favorite Ducati skin.

And to give you a run down of where we stand with development: We now have over 60% of our weapons in game. Most of these weapons have first person animations finished, and all of the in-game melee weapons have random 1P attack swings. Almost 25% of our statics are completed, and porting continues as we get our BFV models reconditioned for BF2. Within our statics list, we have many dynamic objects such as movable and/or destroyable items already in game. And finally, we've also been adding all new sounds and effects to the mod as we go.

Our first release should have lots of custom content including some newly coded stuff that we'll be showing in the coming weeks. We're still a ways off from a public first release, but we've been making great strides recently and things have been moving at a pretty good pace. We'll continue to keep you up to date on our status.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/BlackDucati1.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_BlackDucati1.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/BlueDucati2.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_BlueDucati2.jpg"></a><br><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/RedDucati3.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_RedDucati3.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/YellowDucati3.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_YellowDucati3.jpg"></a></center><br>Be sure to head over and vote for your favorite skin. Bike's look awsome.

I was just thinking, how will they get the physics down for a Bike in this engine?

It's done by adding invisible wheels with not collision wide from the bike and other tweaks to make it lean.

I bet it handles just like the ATV's from Special Forces. They're fairly bike-like.

You dont have to lean the whole bike to turn corners on a quad bike tho.

Besides First Strike and Shattered Faith, this is the mod I'm most looking forward to. Great work!
