Re: Community Update - 2/22/06
:) Hello. One thing I have noticed from playing online games for 3 years is. Everytime a development team adds a new patch. The code in that patch could cause problems with code that the game runs on at the time of the patch (creating what is called a bug). You could test the patch on the beta server, but alot of times all the bugs will not reveal themselves on the beta server for a few reasons. Some of the bugs only happen with certain situations and sometimes these situations don't happen on a beta server. Once a patch goes live thats when you notice that the development teams watch's very closely to both the forums and the game to see what problems the players are having. There is also a dev team that is there to just play the game all day. They'r job is to look for bugs and to watch for players that are cheating in the game. So if you a person that likes to cheat (which if I am not mistaking is a bannable offense). Just think that player you are cheating against could be a dev. In light. I am very pleased to see that Dice is working hard to make BF2 and expasions a better game to play. Also remember the devs only know about the bugs they can find and the ones that players report. So if you feel you have found a bug report it and let the devs know no matter how sinceless it may seem.
