This is for balance and playability otherwise the blackhawk whoring of pre 1.2 would have been even worse.

The grenade launchers in real life may use impact grenades but in patch 1.2 they don't.....they now (poorly) bounce.....if you want me to post a clip of it bouncing i can do....but posting your "how things work" links wont change a bf2 gameplay fact.
I see what you are saying. The thing is, the GL only bounces when fired at a target close range to take care of the real "noob tubers" that would fire it directly down at other player's feet. If you use the grenade launcher like I do, the way it is meant to be used, it explodes on impact at distant ranges (10-70m). I believe they also put a distance limit on them but, I'm not 100% sure. I usually switch to single shot primary for those ranges.

Anyway, awesome debate. See you on the battlefield....2, pun intended.

yup the 10-70m impact is fine but its the real noob tubers who fire right at their feet (usally killing me and himself) that it should bounce for.....currently the bounce they implemented doesn't work properly when fired at their feet, so if they made it like the tear gas gun it would bounce at their feet instead of sticking to the floor and blowing up instantly.

yup time for bed i think.

Actually the Beta is already out. It's titled Patch 1.2

Honestly, thoroughly tested? Just like your first try at this patch, which is who knows how many times they have b0rked so many things on so many levels.

I'm losing more and more faith in EA's so called "beta testing". Looking back at the other patches it doesn't really seems as if they do much testing at all...

I hope they hurry, as my numerous complaints have said i can't even play the game as i am one of the ones with the ATI card problem. Lags like you wouldn't believe and the buildings are invisible. Hope they hurry before i get too addicted to Silkroad Online and don't wanna play bf2 anymore.

Well I think they are going to use the same team that tested the 1.2 patch..BTW here are the team members testing the 1.2 patch:

no it wasnt. it was about them smoking GANJA while they tested the patch...I dont care what color they were they just didnt test the patch at all. Its proven in the gameplay.

Any1 having trouble with ghost Anti tank rockets. You fire 1 and it disapears?
Oh and the they should't have messed around with the Anti-air missle's or helo's hit poits. Best solution is 2 give anti-tank kit a portable stinger like in DC

At times an enemy could be right beside you shooting and you wouldn't hear a thing.
