    Australian Forces Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.users.on.net/~arkanis/bf2/" target="_blank">Australian Forces</a> mod website. They have a new site design as well as some new info to share. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>When it comes to mod making, we much prefer spending our time on actually developing the mod, rather than wasting time developing and updating fancy websites with thousands of renders and concept art. Now that the mod is progressing at a fantastic rate, it's time to get rid of the old temporary website and give it an overhaul before we get around to releasing 0.3.<p>We are making some incredible progress on new models and features for the 0.3 release, and we can assure you that there are going to be heaps of new vehicles, maps and weapons to keep you amped! The team motto for version 0.3 is "living the dream!".</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/water_36724.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_water_36724.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/water_36723.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_water_36723.jpg"></a><br><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/water_35938.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_water_35938.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/water_36444.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_water_36444.jpg"></a></center><br>Nice to hear these guys are getting closer to their next release. constructive critisism:

the chopper looks more plastic than metal.

LRPV looks awesome. I do agree with the post above that the chopper skin looks plastic-ish. Maybe it looks different ingame though, so I can't say much.

When I first looked the Helicopter render, I thought to myself, that it looks really plain and ugly. But after looking at the difference between the two Jeep Pictures, I think that the helicopter will look really good.

p.s.: good luck with the mod.

The australian army bought up alot of ex-US gear. Including hummers

NFI why. Nothing wrong with Toyota and i've heard they performed better in war games

The hummers kept on getting bogged during war games on QLD coast

lol, nobody knowingly buys ex-crap from the usa, i think thats why they have landies and not hummers, but yeah, looks great

I really much rather like the Logo you have made, it inspired me on a prototype of a logo I am making.
