Since 1.02, many modders have noticed the inability to use the unlockable weapons feature in their own mods for weapon selection. Will this be changed?
The unlocks are supposed to be used in conjunction with ranked servers and game spy. That isn’t something we want to change.

I dont know guys and gals, if you read this thread all the way through there is some pretty fishy stuff going on. I think im just gonna sit back and wait to see the official word on this, we have all waited, what 8 months? a couple more hours to a day wont kill us.Comment

Well, I host one version of the file (the skorchedearth one) and while I swear up and down it's not bad (you can always get the checksum if you want -- I'd post it, but that would be kinda counterintuitive, you know?) I also did just roll it back. The patch I have does allow the new weapons to be unlocked, but doesn't change the build number in the corner to 1.2. So, I'm like ts-Sombo, I think I'll wait for the real thing. If you have it from my site though, it's not like you're going to be hurt, I just couldn't find any servers to play on
. I think it's just an internal test before the official one is out.

A quick note to our BF2 Clanserver customers; don't install the BF2 patch if you have managed to get hold of a copy from somewhere on the web. Wait for our release to ensure that you have the correct patch and that it will work with your clanserver. Keep your eyes peeled as we'll be announcing the successful migration to v1.20 when it's done.
Its been shown that a lot of people who used the beta verson are having alot of problems an also causing problems at the server side!
this was posted on are rented clan server news,so i think ill wait on the full verson b4 i patch the game me thinks :PComment

rember its not the full patch yet so this could be one of the nastys what are server provider was tellin us about,
an rember one thing EA/DICE wouldnt have to put your stats back to normal either as its a beta patch an being leeked out.
basiclly its not full verson.

Only thing that kinda bugs me is that BF2:SF still shows 1.12 !!!! What is up with that ? I thought the full game would be affected including the Expansion !Comment
