    * AA missile lock has been improved
    * Server setting to allow friendly fire to be off on mines without affecting other weapons.
    * The distance for throwing hand grenade, ammo packs, and health packs has been increased

    SWEET !!!

The sprint exploit is when you run your stamina bar all the way down, then you let 3 to 4 bars come back jump, and while your in the air they recharge and you jump again. I have never really found a good use for it other than if you in the middle of no where, it does help you get around faster. IMO it won't be missed since most didn't even know it was here.

Sorry to sound ungrateful but each and every interview has been a total waste of time.
'I Don't Know.' I like that. 'Mr. Hand, am I going to pass this class?' 'Gee, Mr. Spicoli, I don't know!' You know what I'm going to do, Mr. Spicoli? I'm going to leave your words on the board for all of my classes - giving you full credit, of course.

Seriously- i am looking forward to the patch... I hope the LMG's become usefull... I am glad that the dolphin diving and prone jumping will be eliminated. I can handle bunnyhopping as long as the person is not able to shoot while doing it, so i believe this patch will increase gameplay enjoyment; as it is nice to live longer than a few seconds after spawning, which is where bunnyhopping did serve a purpose, but it did suck to have a hopper shoot you with great accuracy with a G36 type weapon or nade or GL..

If you believe these questions are a waste of time, we have DICE forums that you can post your "worth-while" questions in.
I'm not knocking your interview technique bud, I didnt say your questions were a waste of time. I said that AJ Marini never answers them! I understand that he is contractually obliged not to answer most questions about BF2's future and as for the rest he just doesnt seem to know what hes talking about, such as him thinking you can ge the unattainable aviator ribbon in SF by flying a helicopter!! And his answer to the question this time around was "We have had discussions about revamping many of the criteria. I can’t promise we will be able to do this, but it is something we want to do."

He cant admit this is an error by DICE. An award for aviators in a game with no airplanes doesn't need its criteria "revamped". Its a ****-up, plain and simple!!

                  Re: 1.2 Patch Pre-Release Interview

What the hell is the point of decreasing the blast radius on a GL? Thats the most retarded thing Ive heard.

I can understand the irritation associated with noobs shooting the GL at their feet close-range. The minimum distance fix for that is warranted.

The explosion radius decrease, however, is a bunch of bull****. A grenade is a grenade. The GL grenades should have the same explosion radius as one thrown by a medic/spec-op/etc. If anything, they should have increased the radius to that of an ordinary grenade along with a lesser minimum distance restriction to inflict damage on the noob that fired it as well. That way, the guy loses 2 teampoints for killing himself.

Dear Lord, the DICE people are morons. It's like they listen to all the idiots for solutions in the game. They develop something to keep us satisfied appearing as if they care about our gaming experience and pop out expansion packs so they can make more money off us. They just experiment with retarded, irrational solutions and hope that we keep giving them money. I really don't mind paying for the expansion packs at all. What I mind is paying for expansion packs to a game that has so many flaws. Fix the flaws first, then start coming out with your expansion packs DICE.

They are so close to making the game perfect, they are just making the wrong moves and listening to the wrong people.

Still no widescreen support, which would have been a simple addition. I'm still not buying EA/DICE products anymore, as this game was unfinished upon release. That is, unless they actually improve the quality of their product.

                        all business crap... typical EA/DICE

and no new awards.. great.. one of the main factors the game is so cool and adictive...

I'm so discouraged to play bf2 atm....

                        * Fixed bug in AA where missiles would sometimes hit enemy aircraft.
                        * Addressed the issue with terrain sometimes going black. added black terrain.
                        * Fixed a bug where battlefield actually worked at times.
                        * Tried to fix a bug.

Only if we can get worthwhile answers, GameWizard. His point is that the interview answers are hardly worth reading, as nearly every answer is vague or evasive.

We appreciate your help, we would appreciate more openness and candidness on the part of the interviewee. Otherwise, I can simply have a dialogue with an Magic 8-ball that would be just as entertaining.

The LAV25 now no longer shoots through penetrable materials.
So now it can't shoot through stuff like wood? That would suck...
