I totally agree... The typical marketing guy who doesn't play the game. The only things he seems to know are the changelogs which are already released to the public. Although he seems to make notes and can answer questions asked in a previous update more specific. He should get the questions in advance and then send the answers back a week later. That way we would perhaps get a bit more information out of this interviews =)

How is it going to work with servers and the patch and time of release? Let's say it's released tomorrow (which I think will surprise many of us if it isn't). I get home from work around 16:50 gmt-5 and choose a site to download from. Most likely it's going to be another 3+ hours before the patch is even on my computer. Then another 45+ minutes to patch, clear the shader cache, and reload. For me, that means I won't be able to play with the patch until 22:00 or later. Do servers plan on implimenting the patch as soon as it's released? Can people with the new patch play on servers running the old one? If so, do servers plan to do a delayed move? And if so, then we really won't know how the patch peforms for a couple of days.

The first 4 hours after the patch will be total chaos as always. Everyone trying to get a slot on a updated server, getting the patch etc... But after that everything should go pretty smooth again... And no, you can't play on servers with a different version.

                      The changelog says the following:

                      - Prone Spamming is now fixed
                      - Sprint exploit is now fixed

                      What exactly are these?

                        Re: 1.2 Patch Pre-Release Interview

Q: Hi there guy from EA/DICE. First of all, could you tell us your name?
A: There's is no plan for me to have a name right now. Possibly in future interviews I will tell you my name. Currently, I'm not aware that I even have an attribute like that.

Q: But you do work on BF2?
A: There are no plans for BF2 and I can't really comment anything on anything.

Q: You mentioned the word "community" a while ago?
A: Yes we are greatful for the community for being so community and helping us to really communityze(?) with the bf2-community, but currently, there are no further plans for community.

Q: Let's talk about the upcoming patch-
A: There are no plans for any patch.

                        etc. etc.

Anyhoo, is the "no friendly fire for mines" option going to be ON by default on ranked servers and does that include Claymores too?

I think people need to understand..........you can still bunny hopp all you want. You just cant shoot and bunny hop.

I do not like the fact that people can bunny hop and shoot, but I freakin hate when some noob just hops around for 20min if they want while I try to shoot at them.

Prone spamming is like dolphin diving only no jumping involved i think, and Sprint exploit was some bug the testers probably found that has to do with sprinting that not many people new of.
