• The Last Offensive Mod Update

After a long break, the team behind the The Last Offensive mod are back today with quite a large update. They have some progress news as well as some great new media. Take a look:
First , we want to tell you that we have a new homepage, which you can request at www.dlomod.de or www.dlomod.com It´s still in progress but we're trying hard to update it continously. If you have requests, questions or some suggestions please tell us on our forum.
For those , who didn´t know us anymore: The last Offensive is a Bf2 Modification with historical correct but also fictitous scenarios depending on WW2. The historical scenarios content the final fights of 1944 and 1945 in Germany. For example the Battle of "Remagen", "Westwall" or "Ruhrkessel". For the second part we think some steps forward. We develope fictional scenarios after the "What would be if..." principle. like the "Fortress of the alps" or the "Battle of Jonas-valley". There will be of course the amory ,which were still on blueprints or in development stage.
But still we are currently looking for some talented new members to proceed much faster. Especially we need experienced skinners and mappers. So now just have a look to our pictures, but note that the untextured models are currently in progress.

Glad to hear this mod is still around and progressing. Re: The Last Offensive Mod Update

Why do two images portraying both sides of the M1 Garand show exactly the same thing except flipped over?

Looks pretty good, but they need to smooth their renders. They seem really flat and blocky atm, but I'm pretty sure its just because of smoothing.

ummm vehicles look like their smoothing groups are in order - this is definitely true, however, of the garand - i would have thought that would have been done for a display render
