Warp Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Warp mod website. They have some general progress news for their mod and what they've been up to as of late. Here's what they had to say:
This update will give you a basic idea of what space maps – a major feature of the mod – are like, and, for you Galactic Conquest old-timers, what to expect from it this time around.
Before we begin though, there are several other things to cover:

The team has gotten a new member: Safe-Keeper will be handling most of the news updates, P.R., and other writing from this point on.

Our resident coders have gotten Zero-G physics fully implemented. It is certainly different from your average jet flying, but it's intuitive and shouldn't be difficult at all to get used to.

The team is working on revising the models of the modification, which is why they've not been added to the Media section yet. Modding is a learning experience, and our modellers are steadily getting better, realizing that they can do far better than their first takes on the models. Rest assured, though - the screen shots are coming!

OK, with that covered, let’s move on to our space warfare curriculum!
Sounds like a lot of exciting stuff to look forward to. Be sure to visit their site to read the entire update.

Rather intriguing to say the least. First I've heard of this one. Looking forward to see how it all comes out.

Good read. :) Nice to hear more detailed descriptions of their vision for the gameplay. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
