There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.opk-mod.de/" target="_blank">Operation Peacekeeper</a> mod website. They have some very exciting news to bring us today, a new trailer for their mod. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>You all know it, paper doesn't blush. In the modscene this is compareable to the renders, screenshots, etc. which you can find every day on the many newspages. But there's more.<p>A huge breakthrough for us was our first video, which was about the offspring of the idea behind “OPK“, at a point of time where the modscene for BFV was still young and BF2 was far away. And to continue this tradition of moving images we want to show you now our newest trailer.<p>With the support of music interprets like Hallowed Curse, Two Dollar Haircut, Condense, and Under Seven Bridges and under the lead of our member Nightmare a new movie was created, showing you the maps “Airfield Assault“ by Osis, and “Out of Reach“ by kEEv³.<p>Notice that the maps, models and skins shown in this video are still WIP, one of the most important reasons is that it took almost one month to finish it. Especially the Hind shown in the video differs from the new one, shown in the last news. Pretty cool video, I liked the staged battles. :) It does indeed look like they're getting close to a first release.

Anyone else thought the music was an odd fit to the visuals? :)

constructive critisim:
Hope the buildings get some better lighting on and in them.
They seem a bit flat and operation flashpoint-ish
Their colouring also seems a bit off for the bf2 palette.

I love all those custom statics for Out of Reach! Especially the church. Very good video, and I cannot wait to play it!

About the lightning: there are still some error in, we will fix it. And the Out of reach statics don´t have lightmaps yet. --> the shiny colors...
