Continuing their media release week, the team behind the <a href="http://www.eodmod.com/forum/portal.php" target="_blank">Eve of Destruction</a> mod have posted some more images. nice models - as i said before the skins are incomplete (i am assuming they are beta skins too)... just need to canvas a greyscale file, cut out fitting pieces and overlay the knit pattern so tht it runs with the clothes correctly... at the moment the clothes look really unrealistic IMHO. sweet model though, if anything the hand animation needs tweakin to fit the gun right... really good to see another mod bring out female player models - have fun doing the sound files for her!! lol....

No, they are fine. Look on their site they aren't squashed. TotalBF2 only has square image areas, so any elongated image get's ruined. One of the flaws of the system

Some are Alpha and some are Beta skins. They still need some of the player lod's completed. They also need tweaking of hands and placement of them on weapons, etc.

Those are actual in game pictures too. Not renders or anything fancy. With a real nice render, I am sure they would look 100% better, but then it is not showing off the true model in an actual game enviroment on an average machine. I am not sure what the resolution is of the computer video card on Vic's machine.

In any case, we decided to put out some news to let everyone know that we are still here and still working on bringing the Vietnam Experience to the BF2 game engine. We felt our character models, while still needing tweaking, were good enough to show off to the public. The character models will continue to evolve and be tweaked. You can never ever get them 100% perfect.

We just felt we needed to get an update out to you guys. It has been awhile since we put out any news posts. Our Dev team is not huge in comparision to other mods. Things take a little longer to get completed than for other teams. We are here tho and working hard.

I am already in contact with a good friend of mine who is vietnamese and he has a lead on some of his lady friends who might be willing to do the voice of our character model.
