Battlefield 1918/2 Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Battlefield 1918/2 mod website. They have some new media for us to see. Here's what they had to say:
It is under limited light that we present two knew items for BF1918/2. The British Trench Club, perfect for those daring night time raids on the Hun, will counterpart the already shown German Club. The British will be unable to raid without at least a little light, however, and where better to get it than the French MLE17 Flare Gun, which, like its German counterpart will be sure to 'shed a little light on things'. Messrs. Goldi, Tibmaker, Streetveiter and BlackJack are responsible for the models and textures.

Today we are also showing off a memorial stone, something you will find on many Great War battlefields. However, this stone does not recall a battle, but a bottle! Long time fans of our mod will remember what we are talking about.

Nice to see the team back and progressing some more. Should have made a better looking club that one is a bit bare, like the ones which were hollowed out and the centre replaced with lead, and hobnails nailed into striking part.

            Re: Battlefield 1918/2 Mod Update

Being in the trenches for so long, there were many clubs and melee weapons of all sorts devised. However, we chose this particular one just as a standard-cheap version of a club to be used by the British. Also known as the Billy Club. Basically, it is a rather short version of a club in order to allow for faster and more brutal swings. Getting whacked accross anywhere with this will likely result in some major brone breaks and instant head trauma :P SO BE AFRAID MORTALS! Below is just one of many types of Billy Clubs.

"You really think they kept the strings attached in the trenches?"
