I just played a few of the new ones on the tbf2 server and i was impressed. They were a nice change of pace from the normal maps. I played ATOM which is very nice and has lots o vehicles. I played Codename Valhalla which is fun but the US carrieer can be captured, which is good and bad, because carrier fights are fun, but it gets tedious after a few minutes. The map i most wanted to see was Isurgency at Alcataz because i live near it and have been there, but i ended up having to create a local server and play it by myself. Alcatraz seems like it would be awesome with a lot of people, one thing that surprised me was that there are NO VEHEICLE! NONE! im not sure if thats good or bad yet, but its interesting! It kinda sucks that you can't go inside the prision itselt (or atlest i didn't find a way in) but still seems fun. Also in the distance the creater put in the golden gate bridge (acctually it looks more like the bay bridge, but i don't think they know about that one). anywho, nice work and im hoping to see that these maps become popular.

As for Alcatraz - it went through many changes. I started the map to try and replicate it and even had US carrier with choppers - but as time went on I couldn't replicate due to default models and for gameplay reasons - I decided to make it a head on map rather than be able to go anywhere.

As for vehicles there are 4 buggies - 2 spawn at top and 2 after capturing pebble beach! But that is all

Good noticing the Golden gate bridge - but then again no good model for it.

I haven't been to alcatraz and only had pictures to make the map with.

Hey man great job for going off pictures! I saw ur WIP post a while ago and was exited about it but didn't hear about it until now. Maybe you should release a version with all the vehicles and stuff? Just an idea, but great map just the same!

Wow!!!

This is so fun!!

They are the best maps i've ever seen. I've just been on the server and honestly I've never had so much fun on BF2.
