European Battle Command Tournament Recruiting

The European Battlefield Command tournament is now recruiting for campaign 2 for the tournament. This tournament is aimed at Europeon Battlefield 2 players who are sick of playing on servers with constant TKing and with no teamwork. It is completly free and they are accepting donations. Here is some information about the tournament:<br><br><center><a href="http://www.eu.battlefield-command.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=new_user"><img src="http://www.eu.battlefield-command.com/news.gif"></a></center><br><li>This Campaign sees the United States Marine Corps 3rd marine Division[3MAD] square off against the Nanjing Military Region, CHINAs, 12th group Army [12GA]<li>The Campaign will run from Feb 3rd 2006 for 7 weeks with a battle every Sat from 6PM UK time to 12PM<li>There are a mixture of standard BF2 maps and Custom maps<li>Once you have picked or been assigned to a Division you can then start practicing and playing with your fellow gamers. Meet up daily on our TS server and either practice, pub or just play together<li>Divisions will follow the RL military ranking scheme where applicable with ranks and awards being given out by your commanding officers<li>This tournament is completelly 100% free and is funded by donations only. Alternatively you could join the Nations at war tournament.An 8 hr war (you dont have to play the whole time) is held every saturday with practise days tuesdays and thursdays.Server is based in the US.Custom skins,some custom maps and a great bunch of people

Actually, we do have quite a few americans and even canadians who play. Haven't heard of any big connection problems for them. Server is on a pretty good line and machine in the UK, so I guess it depends on what you got for connection in the US.

I joined up around last October and it's been great. Great people and amazing battles. We had the first campaign that started in November and ended a week before Christmas. One of the best battles was when we went all out on El-Alamein. That was massive.

I think we're about 100+ people or so now in the tournament and we play 64 players all the time of course. As mentioned above, we play quite a few custom maps. We also modify some of the orignial BF2 maps to make them more interesting and different.

Yeah sorry about that was a typo should be 6-10PM we vary the end time during the campaign anywhere from 9PM to 12

You can test our servers here are the IP's one of them is running custom maps at the moment though. Standard ports.

Funny how these news posts allways end up with other tournaments advertising themselves .

If EBC is to European for anyone though :hmm: (ping shouldnt be an issue as all of our servers are on 100MB dedicated lines in the docklands london Data centre) we would recommend 21CW http://www.21stcenturywarfare.com/ as a good tournament for you.

The BC staff used to play there ourselves and keep in touch with quite a few of its members.

If you check the Score board / planner all of the maps are listed.
