Hardly any point downloading the movies, they're very short, the screenshots in the first post give you a better look at the guns.

I only need 500 odd points to the next rank, so I will definitely be unlocking the P90. It looks super-cool, of course it won't be much better than the MP5, I hope it will have a bit better range instead.

I have saved two unlocks for this reason =). Does this mean the uav can be shot down that would suck. or running into one with a jet.

And I believe the P90 has a 7.2mm or something else odd clip, but yes... 50 rounds, in game and in real life.

the P90 has a 9mm fifty round clip...does this hold true for patch 1.2??

The most revolutionary thing about the FN P90 when it was released was the type of armour piercing ammo it uses, as does the FN fiveseven pistol (that makes an apperance in CS).

It uses 5.7x28mm armour piercing ammo.

And of course it can't have the same characteristics as IRL, because in BF2 every gun needs to have both benefits and drawbacks for sake of balance.

At the ranges we shoot at each other in BF2 most guns in the game would be super accurate IRL.

The question is should I waste an unlock for a maybe sucky SMG. I am not a sniper so it has to be the SMG. I want the PKM for my next unlock. What should I do?

50 rounds, that's going to be a lot of firepower. It's going to have a long way to go to compete with my DAO-12 though.

The make-or-break question for me is, will these 2 new unlocks be available to those without Special Forces? Anyone know?

There other video is cool too that shows the new features in next patch like viewable (and shootable) UAV, also the 203 that u can bounce off of a wall and still take out a target.

I'm going to be mighty ****ed off with EA/DICE if I need to go up another rank before I can use these two weapons. AT and sniper are my top two kits and I would have unlocked them a long time ago if I could have.

If the extra unlocks aren't given at Lance Corporal and Corporal I think EA should reset the unlocks so that people can choose the weapons they wan't.

I am crushed to hear that the devs are nerfing my mp7!!!!!

So what is to assume the SMG will be any better than the standard BB gun that comes with the anti-armor kit?

I almost would have prefured them giving us a pistol with the Anti armor kit. At least it would be an improvement instead of another weapon that will get owned by the AK family.

I hope they did a good job with the sniper rifle as we never have enough guys sniping.

That's correct, I should've made that more clear. :)

You made it perfectly clear but what the guy was saying was that now Euro Force only really includes 5 new weapons since we already get 2 of them in patch 1.2.

PKM suks? It's one of the better unlocks out there. It has good rate of fire, has the biggest punch out of all the machine guns, and has good range. The only problem with this gun is that you have only 100 bullets in a belt or container thingy in this case but that isn't a problem because you have to shoot in bursts with all the machine guns so you don't overheat.

Agreed. Although I'm close to the next unlock so I'll have a short time to get one of these (if they give us vanilla players a break), I do think resetting the unlocks would be rather popular. Not reset the stats, but the unlocks. That way people can drop that annoying gun they don't like or something, and can get the new guns if they wish. I think it would be a rather popular move, as it wouldn't hurt the points people are a little too zealous over, and people get to shuffle their arsenal a bit without having to play for another 5 months to the next rank (as most people have gotten insanely high in rank by now, leaving them high and dry to these unlocks)
