i talked to my server company and they said that they are to install the patch on the servers tuesday(unless they change it)

Wouldn't that make it Monday if you are a day ahead??? EA has always said the patch would be "well in place" before the booster pack is released. My money is on Tuesday. Just my guess. I have not pressed for information from our server Co.

There is currently no scheduled release time or date for the 1.20 patch.

While it has cleared final testing and is being prepared for release, it has not been uploaded or distributed yet.

Until you see a link posted by either EAUK_Sentience or myself on this forum you are at your own risk. Be aware that there have already been incidences of users posting fake patch files on this forum, so the simple guideline, as ever, is that unless you see it posted officially, it's not real.

We appreciate that there is a significant amount of anticipation regarding the patch but at this time there is no further news.

We will continue to update this thread as we have further news

Yep, well aware of that particular post, although personally i think it's bull. If this is true, how come official ranked servers are being updated? How come I managed to play on one of many that appeared in my browser listed as 'same version'? How come the ranks if BFHQ are updated? How come my game was completely compatible with the official, patched server?

The patch will be released tonight, or else servers wouldn't be getting patched.

A quick note to our BF2 Clanserver customers; don't install the BF2 patch if you have managed to get hold of a copy from somewhere on the web. Wait for our release to ensure that you have the correct patch and that it will work with your clanserver. Keep your eyes peeled as we'll be announcing the successful migration to v1.20 when it's done.
Its been shown that a lot of people who used the beta verson are having alot of problems an also causing problems at the server side!


this was posted on are rented clan server news,so i think ill wait on the full verson b4 i patch the game me thinks :P
