There's a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://usimod.clanspy.net/main.php" target="_blank">US Intervention</a> mod website. They are back again with a counterpart to the A10, which was recently shown in an exclusive video. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>Hello, and a happy new year, it's been a long time since our last update, which happens too often, but we have been focusing on getting our stuff ingame, since we have the majority of vehicles for our first release done already. Endless excuses, so for this week we are showing the Iraqi counterpart to the A-10, yes, you guessed it right, the Sukhoi SU-25.<p>Iraq bought 60 of these Russian made ground attack planes before 1990. After the war, 25 of them remained. The SU-25 is armed with a GSh-6-N-30 30mm rotary gun along with a payload of 4 UB-32-57 57mm rocket pods, 4 FAB-500 dumb bombs and 2 AA-8 Aphid short range anti-air missiles. Nice plane. If I could add a bit of constructive critisim? The skin although great, seems to have lost any kind of "metal" look. The plane looks a little "toyish" I find the best model skins really remind you your in a big metal flyin or drivin machine. Mod is comin along nicely.:)Comment
