    Red Crucible Mod Update

There is a new update posted today from the team behind the <a href="http://rcmod.bf2gaming.net/news.html" target="_blank">Red Crucible</a> mod. They are showing off some new renders and have some release news. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>Well, we now have 99.9% of the content modeled, for the first public release. But we have a lot of skinning to do and then coding. The skinning is going to go smoothly but the coding is the big wild card; the more coders we can get to help us, the quicker Red Crucible will be released. But you can expect something in a few months, if all goes well. I have decided to start a WIP showcase to display some of our "in production" content. Let us know what you think.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/Hind%20E.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_Hind%20E.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/RPG-16%20WIP.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_RPG-16%20WIP.jpg"></a><br><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/aksu.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_aksu.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/Town.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_Town.jpg"></a></center><br>Nice to see some progress and glad to hear a release is on the way. America and Russia will be in the first release, and will battle it out in a number of maps, including a number of converted bf2 maps, and some original battlefields as well.

Good Stuff, but RPG-16 has a bi-pod...what happened?

Also, to SpawnDemon, why not post the last, fifth picture, cause in order to see it, you have to register on the forums, which is just pointless.

..and, is this a One-Man-Mod....lol....Joe is seriously a workhorse of this mod

Its not a one man mod, but it defidentally needs more people.

Edit: The pictures shown in the update are Joe's. The forums have one that wasn't put in the update, which I did.

The render isn't very good for some reason.

                              Re: Red Crucible Mod Update

Thanks to all for your interest and support of our mod! Although I do a lot of the work, I can't take all of the credit. The Makarov pistol (among others) was built by Raslin, while Huffardo made all of the signposts and small details, as well as other models not yet shown. Our other members are hard at work building models and contributing to the development of this unique mod. I am very excited to see the progress we are making and am looking with anticipation to our public release.

                              Cheers!
