Once again, the origonal pics are way better looking than the TotalBF2 resized ones....

If thats for me, than u missunderstood what I meant...I meant that the quality of BF2's weapons and MODs' quality are always different...so it's better to have all weapon look the same(made by the same group of people)

hehehe no offence but i wouldnt be comparing your skins to POE lol (they dont look anymore "used" if anything just different styles of skinning) besides - your G3 is so similar to the ingame G3 tht it all just looks like a casual reskin.... so what difference would reskinning the current g3 make? meh its good work all the same... and icy - did modelling skinning and unwrapping take you ten minutes? tht was what i mainly meant its good work all the same....

I dont belive I see any of your skins? Poe skins look out of the box new if you know what I mean

yeah thts what i thought lol

we are having this exact debate (ingame models versus updated versions versus time to release) over at DC... in our case it is the mp5... i really do think tht with a "proper" reskinning (and i dont mean just fiddling with the original) you would hardly be able to tell it was the bf2 version... but we'll see what we decide - pretty obvious which side i am on lol

EDIT anything to save me having to unwrap another one lol

For all these excuses, I'll believe it when I see it. I've heard it before, mods with sub-standard quality blaming it on their cards, "easy to fix bugs", or their dogs. Then the next update comes out, and the quality is still bad, and they are consistantly the same.

If these aren't representative, show us. Otherwise, what we see is what we will plan to expect.

hahaha you wanna see one of my skins? lol i am in no way threatened by yours i do have a clue about what i am talking about....

POE skins do look fresh however their weathering is in the fine details... its very good quality work (their weapons anyway)...

but thts enough about POE i totally dig those character models - cant wait to see those complete...

It depends on what the focus of the mod is for example my mod we want realism in our weapons bf2's ak47 is very bad so we have to remodel that but only stuff that is really obvious it all depends on what they want to do. Btw the weapons look eally nice I really like the Colt 1911

And we want 3d ironsights instead of having a damn blurred out image up in our face.

And everyone seems to love the Colt :laugh:
