There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.battlefield1918.de/news/" target="_blank">Battlefield 1918/2</a> mod website. They have some exciting news regarding an internal alpha and a new image to show. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>It might be the holidays, but in between the food, drinks and festivities, we've still got a mod to make! Proof of that is our all new M1915 German handgrenade. Fireworks for the new year! Better known as the 'Stielhandgranate' or 'Potatomasher', this will be the standard German handgrenade in BF1918/2, just like it was in BF1918 for BF1942. Modelled by Streetveiter and skinned by BlackJack, you may also expect to see it's improvised nephew soon, just to give you a little hint of gadgets to come.<p>By the way, we're currently hard at work testing our internal version C136. If all goes well, a new release of BF1918/2 for BF2 could come soon. No, not tomorrow.
