Modern Warfare v0.1b Released

There has been a fun new mini-mod released today that goes by the name of Modern Warfare. This release adds many new changes to the game and is a sure check out for any BF2 fan. Here are some of the major changes:<blockquote><b><i>Modern Warfare Version 0.1b:</b></i>
<li>Blood
<li>Teamwork and awareness are more important than ever now! Because it takes alot of bullets to kill you, but you can't carry alot of ammo.
<li>Fighting vehicles have integrated range-finders as well as target-identifiers and friendly vehicle markers.
<li>All handheld weapons have increased damage, recoil and realistic rate of fire, the crosshairs have been removed.
<li>Improved and selectable zoom has been added to the snipers, as well as increased damage.
<li>The helicopter pilot now carries 18 TOW Missiles and 2 AIM-9 Sidewinder Anti-Air missiles!
<li>The helicopter co-pilot now fires laser-guided missiles and locks-on targets (insted of that wierd manual-guided missile).
<li>All AA and AT guns are more powerful and accurate!
<li>Replaced the MEC with Terrorists!

sorry. need a lot of work.
-jumps are too low
-ammo sucks
-sniper zoom is too much
-single player doesnt work
-if you are going to unlock 2 guns, you might as well unlock everything.

i didnt see anything else wrong with the mini mod because i just uninstalled it, didnt suite my taste.

Single player does not work because DICE have not released any AI tools perhaps

Here is what I like and do not like about this mod.

Likes:

Giving the chopper pilot some missiles for air to air combat, giving the chopper pilot a lock on tv guided missiles.


Do not like:

The fact that you have made the MEC from an army to a group of villians. EA said they were put in there with respect and dropping them to the status of terroists just disses them.

Yes it does.

-if you are going to unlock 2 guns, you might as well unlock everything.

Really? Maybe they wanted the AT soldier to have his sub machine gun, and maybe they wanted the Assault soldier to have a grenade launcher.

Takes alot of bullets to kill someone? Wow, Realistic! And replacing the weird manual guided missle (aka TV Guided Missile) on the chopper with a laser guided one? Realistic! Can't be able to carry alot of ammo? Realistic!

This mod is making BF less realistic, I hope they weren't attempting to make it more realistic.

They should have made the people weaker and gave them more ammo capacity... that'd make short work of rambos if you could kill them in 1 or 2 shots. But of course the really good rambos would own everyone and then noobs would whine. Waaa...

I hated that too... I guess the creators of this mod believed the Bush BS on "Iraq is harboring terrorists". :laugh:
