There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://www.usimod.clanspy.net/main.php" target="_blank">US Intervention</a> mod website. Today they are showing off a new model and skin they have completed. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>Greetings, Petemonster just finished skinning the M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS). It's armed with a M242 25mm Bushmaster chaingun, twin TOW launcher tubes and a 7.62mm co-axial machine gun. It was modelled by Onryou and skinned by Petemonster.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m2a2.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m2a2.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m2a2_3.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m2a2_3.jpg"></a></center><br>Very impressive model and skin they have there. Re: US Intervention Mod Update
Very nice. :) I think they overdid the bolts though - they look like polka dots on the sides of the BFV, and aren't that distinct in any photo I've ever seen of the BFV. I think they should keep the bolts, but make them more subtle - most of the effect should be achieved with normal maps, not with the actual texture, I think.Comment

Re: US Intervention Mod Update
This mod is one of the best mods out there I think, just check out their M60A1.

Re: US Intervention Mod Update
There may be some difference between the A2 and A3, I don't know.. But anyway. I'm not saying the bolts should go, I'm just saying they will be a much more noticable and eye-catching feature on that (btw very impressive) model ingame than it will be on any real Bradley irl. So I still think the bolts should be made just a little bit smaller, or at least less accentuated on the actual texture. But that's just me.
