patch is looking good, but i have a feeling they arent going to release the patch until they release EuroForce, which is in february i believe.

this makes the most sense to me as if you look at the changelist, it says "Sniper unlocks added" and if you look at the new list of weapons in euroforce the L96A1 is being added, the AWP to all you CSS people out there. so if they are adding that weapon as an unlock they would have to make it compatible with BF2 and SF probably, so the patch will most likely be released when EuroForce is released

I think thats the plan so why is everyone getting so overly excited over this patch with we are 3 weeks out til the first Booster Pack, EuroForce, is release. They release 1.12 when Special Forces was release. They say that the patch will be release "really soon". But don't expect anytime sooner than 3 weeks.

I don't understand why they simply don't announce that the patch will be released simultaneously with the booster pack then?

sounds so simple to me.

If they don't..then I'm assuming the patch will be out sooner.

In feb I presume around the 14th, oh and when patches or vers of software come out it starts goes up hence 1.12 so 1.2 is higher (1.20).....

I agree. The closer we get to the booster packs, the more like it will be released with the first one.

Actually I would like to see a few of them lowered (or at least brought into more uniformity with the others). Some of the ranks on the high end currently take a very long time to get if you don't play for points all the time. going from 20,000 to 50,000 seems like too big of a jump to me (just one example). I wouldn't mind if they'd bring the top end down a little.

I agree with that, they are going to increase the ranks up to general and between 2nd lieutenant and general is a lot of ranks, so i would hope they do lower them.

Patch sounds great, however, im not sure wut these mean
"Prone Spamming" is now fixed
"Sprint exploit" is now fixed"
can anyone fill me in??

Little Known,but really cheap exploit that somehow allowed you to sprint as long as you want

Just expect the patch to be release at the same time as Euro Forces is release. Will there be hard copied of the Booster Packs or are they going to be strictly downloads from the EA website? I am just asking for those that reformat there systems once, twice, or three times a year. I have checked out EB Games, Gamestop, and other gaming software outlets and they do not have these Booster packs listed, so i am taking this will be a strickly download only expansion?

NO, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NOOOOOOOO. MY CHOPPER WHORING DAYS ARE OVER!!!!! I'm glad I got my helo service ribbons before this went in effect though. But seriously, why do they have to make everything so balanced now.
