21st Century Warfare Mod Update

Vtigo from the <a href="http://www.21cwmod.net/" target="_blank">21st Century Warfare</a> mod team has emailed me with a huge update. He has sent me brand new in-game screenshots of the SU-25T, A-10 Thunderbolt, M167 Vulcan, ZU23 and the BMPT Infantry Fighting Vehicle. We are almost ready to take the wraps off of two brand new bombers - the SU-25T and the A-10. Looks like they need some more experience with skinning, particularly with normal maps. Still, not bad at all. :) Progress is what counts.

Nice work. SOme people dont realize how much time and effort it takes to get this stuff accomplished, considering its all done in modders free time. Who the hell has any of that anymore.

Everything looks good except for the frogfoot skin. Its ugly!

What, are you blind? I think the ludicris specular highlights on those models are clouding your vision.

Seriously, what an abortion of a skin. The A10 looks like it has been skinned only on the sides, and what the hell is that sticking out the front of it? The canon? It looks more like a cheap frigging pencil sharpener.
I didnt know the US army coated their planes in a thick fresh coat of lacquer before they send them off to battle.

Try a smaller brush, and not try not to make up what it looks like. I suggest using something like photoshop.

They do need to get a reskin on all of those, but the models aren't terrible, but the skins are just ass ugly.

Oh and errno, the US Army doesn't fly fighters (like the A-10) thats all US Air Force.

You are posting in the completly wrong forums for that... and no one really knows when any mods are releasing. Except USI...

Unfourtuanlly, that is correct. They look to "cheesy" - for lack of a better word.
