There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://tw.bfworld.net/index.php?op=edito" target="_blank">Tactical War</a> mod website. They have some new media to show as well as an exciting announcement. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>Since our beta release few month ago all Tactical War DEV-TEAM work hard to make for you a great mod. Today we are happy to announce the release of the TW 0.1 version for the 15th of December. We want to thank all magazines which have spoken about us and all those have downloaded our mod. This release of our mod is planned for the 1.03 patch not the 1.12 cause we prefer wait and give you later a hotfixe if necessary. Why only for 1.03 version? thats gonna mean a seperate install I guess, I hope they come out with a patch to make it 1.12 complient soon.

I remember playing the previous release, and it was really buggy. You couldn't drive the new vehicles without them constantly taking damage and eventually blowing up. The ironsights for the new weapons were cool because they were fully 3d (as opposed to sticking a 2d sprite in front of a 3d sight, like BF2 does), but I thought that the ironsights would benefit from being widened a little bit, as it was hard to see anything out of them.

Good first effort, but it definitely could use some work.
