By the time these mods are released, nobody will be interested in BF2 anymore.

either that or the release of mods will make BF2 more popular. yeah that sounds better (and more logical)

I seem to remember a BF42 mod that is still selling BF42 games to this date just so they can play the mod.

Anyways the plane looks great - although i still say the render should have included a pic of the osprey with its rotors in the upright position.

Nope, the project is alive and kicking, with orders being delivered to the Air Force CV-22, and Marines with the MV-22, here's a pic of the Marines training in one from a few days ago:
