There is a new update posted today over at the <a href="http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~idf/idfmod/" target="_blank">IDF - Fight For Independence</a> mod website. They have some new media to show off, here's what they had to say:<blockquote>At first I would like to present the Ilyushin-28 (IL). A cooperative project with EOD, the plane which was developed in the days of WWII continued to impress till the 70s. With a crew of 3 pilots + heavy load capability + a long flight range. The plane caused great horror.<p>Secend, The Hawk Rocket Luncher. A missile which is main objective is to shoot down enemy plane within mid range, can reach to an impressive speed of 2 MACH! I don't know why this mod doesn't get more comments when they post updates. Maybe because of the touchy situation with Isreal and the PLO. But, if you just look at it from a gaming standpoint, this MOD should be kickass fun IMO. Good job guys! It looks great. Keep the updates coming!Comment

hmm,, this mod is OK .. i would love to kill israeli's in the game lol .. but i think its kinda old .. BF2 is more the modern war .. thats why i will download the Desert Conflict MoD .. ! THAT mod is the bOmm !! serious !Comment

Imo, POE, USI, FH2, and this mod will be awesome, if not the best. Ammar, why did you have throw in " .. i would love to kill izrali's in the game" could you not keep that to yourself? Im not jewish, or even from Izrael but just try to keep those types of comments to yourself.Comment
