What the hell are you guys smoking? Thats the exact same carrier (LHD) as the one in the game right now, its just got more static objects placed on it.

I understood there were not going to be any fighters or bombers. Only helicopters. Possibly this is the damaged carrier that I have read about will be in one map. Possibly just using it as a base.

its starting to look better. and will you only be able to go down with ziplines or can you pull yourself up at an upwards angle?

As far as I know its down with ziplines/up with grappling hooks. No kits will have both. But I could be wrong.

I'd laugh my arse off in one end of the carrier was one team and the other end was the opposing team... Seeing the 2 UAV's on that one carrier.:laugh:

What really would suck is if the F-18's are static...also, I think that the carrier in the screenshot is just work in progress, it doesn't look right

I believe the reason for to uavs, and all that on the carrier is because the MEC Special Forces have boarded the ship and taken over parts of it.....The F-18's have folded wings and are tied down...so they are most likely gonna be a static object. They might've also added more rooms and capartments to the ship to make it seem bigger.

Edit: For those wondering if the F18s are static or not, I must dissapoint you all by looking at the shadow its casting, that is a static blob shadow, not projected... ((((

I cant help but be excited and at the same time I remember who im dealing with. I think its like throwing "Dice" ya know. I think they call that game craps.

Anyway most of the BF2 stuff seems to be incomplete or work in progress. I hope this is different, guess we will see...Red

Im 100% sure those f18's are static objects. Meaning you cant use them.

Umm Hedgemus, you must not play the normal Battlefield 2, because if you cannot tell the difference between the LHD in BF2, and that Aircraft Carrier and the fact that the AC is quite a lot longer, then you need your eyes checked mate!

That image showing what you call a LHD is clearly longer than the LHD in the current game. Of course like everyone else has said, those F-18s are static and not usable, but the ship is clearly bigger than the LHD.
