There is a new update posted today over at the Battlefield: Apocalypse mod website. Here's what they had to say:
In this week's news, our mod would like to express our thanks to the growing number of continuously active participants in our forums. The latest Modder's Journal entry talks about the value that their input means the the BF:A team.
We also have 4 new weapon renders to show off. First, we have the NOS Rocket Launcher - This shoulder-launched missile weapon fires a NOS-propelled rocket filled with explosives that can destroy vehicles as well as splatter humans and mutants. Next we have the 4-Shot Sniper Rifle - This sniper rifle is based off of no particular gun of any kind and was fashioned from various gun parts. The ship's spyglass is used for taking long range shots. Third we have the Washer Gun - This weapon shoots sharpened metal washers. A modified spring makes the gun shoot harder, farther, and adds an auto-cocking mechanism. Lots of ammo, but no range. (As in all disc-type weapons, the ammo tends to travel off course over distance.) And finally, we have the Spiked Clipboard - This weapon serves a dual purpose. The front clip holds a document which grants the Postman the authority to "Go Postal", while the backside sports up-close brain piercing joy.

To check out the entire update, head on over here.

Re: Battlefield: Apocalypse Mod Update
Any reasoning behind that? A lot of the BF:A staff browse the comments left by viewers on the BF2 community sites. If you want to leave a 'negative' comment, you should at least give us the courtesy of backing your comment up with reasons or opinions - at least then we have the opportunity to improve on areas of BF:A you don't like.Comment
