I have got a few people asking me why sometimes one team get both artillerys on Abu Dhabi, and i will try to explain:

I tried to make an intelligent added stategic value for mainbases as you can win an artillery and take away enemy artillery by capturing mainbases, but im not sure everyone is getting the idea, cause you need to blow it up and repair it while you own the base to gain access to the extra artypiece. People will learn this in time i guess. There was no other way i could pull it off. It wont switch unless you blow it up and repair it while the base belongs to you.

Its really not logic like its on basic maps that you can keep repairing and using an artypiece inside a base that the enemy has taken, so i tried to make an interresting change. Makes it all more important to take mainbases.

Ill have a mirror on my site asap. It will be a few hours though before it's downloaded and uploaded so your better off using filecloud for now, im currectly getting 88kb/sec so i cant complain :)

I love that map pack, I was playing on the TAW server with a few of my Community members and it was so much fun. All of the maps are great, good job totalbf2 guys :)

This is one of the WORST things about BF2. Maps have to be grabbed separately. This is why the modded maps will never have a decent number of people playing on them...you have to go out of your way to figure out how to install and then FIND the 1-2 servers actually using those maps.

Other MP games have server side maps, and have a better server finder in the game itself.

It's too bad, cause the maps are getting boring in BF2

True in some aspects. Most people still play ranked servers because of the reason that they are ranked, many people will start to play unranked in time.
Other MP games have maps which are a very small file size where as bf2 maps can get up to 60mb so the map would be finished by the time you have downloaded it.
There was a tool released which was a map auto-downloader, not sure how good it is atm as ive never used it and I also think that the server has to have it aswell.

I played these maps in TAW server and i really enjoyed :) Ppl were playing co-operatively and fair. Maybe because the server isn't ranked so it's not filled with "scorewhores". About the maps i can say that they are really nice quality and work greatly on multiplayer combat. I want to thank all the people who made these maps and improved my gaming experience.
