I doubt it, Lego would'nt mind the free advertising I think and such, plus the case where the Lego design system was actually hacked but instead of clamping down with extra security they let those hackers do some of their design work for them, there's an article in the OT forums somewhere I think.
I would htink they would want this mod to succeed if they were aware of it.
