I'm sorry, but I have to say that this is a really bad model and skin.....it needs a lot more detail..because its low quality

they look acceptable as long as the gameplay is great. i tend to not notice graphics after playing a game for awhile, but sometimes i do get awestruck (panzer rush with sunlight shining oh so sweet on tobruck anyone?)

as others have said they are ok but just lacking in detail (Crusader is mega low poly!!). i do remember you guys telling us that you could get 8 matilda's to every bf2 MA12... all i can say is that with these quality models there better be tonnes of them.... heck you should make your mod - XWW2 "Panzer Assault" - and just give us armour orientated maps... turn the game into an online tank sim...

if i see 12 tanks a side supported by jeeps trucks and halftracks (enough to mount EVERY1) i will be most impressed and play this mod

get 1 up on fh2 (lol) and wow us with unique gameplay...

Well play our latest BF1942 release and you will see a few armour maps with 10+ tanks per side along with jeeps halftacks ect
We are going for the same gamplay in BF2.
And as our updates say these are wip.
Some of the tanks show in earlier updates already look better,/have more detail, ie the tools that were just textures are now full 3d models ect.

Re: Experience World War 2 Mod Update

Wait you havent even played fh2 with all its tanks, come to think of it they only have the good looking Panzer 3 ingame, but by the looks of it, i wouldnt count on it being lag free they still have to test with bf2s already unstable netcode. Anywho, enough with the XWWII haters, good job looks great!

                    EXACTLY

Just because the model's have low textures/details doesn't mean the mod will suck. Low texture and mode detail means the mod will run faster on lower end sytems and be more accessible to more people. I stopped caring about graphics so much after the Sega Genesis vs Super Nintendo days.

I'll be very happy to see another realism mod for BF2. I know both FH2 and XWWII will be entertaining. However, I'll have more confidence in the fact that XWWII will probably run better on my system, especially in large (64 player) servers, than FH2.

For people with lower end computers any mod with "ommgggg 1337 gr4ph1c5" is going to run crappy if we keep the details on high so we HAVE to turn our graphic settings down.

how about you grow up, it's called criticism, I can say whatever I want....just because I don't like teh models, doesn't mean that I have to be able to make one....

with FH2 kind of models, the game can still run fine...just get more RAM
you obviously have no idea what i am talking about... dont bother posting if you cant come up with any constructive criticism... and ffs this is not FH2.

for those of you with half a brain i'm sure you know what i am going on about (polycount). technically (so long as everything is coded correctly) XWW2 will probably run smoother simply due to less detail having to be processed... and as i said, the perfect counter to this is to just cram as many as you can in - noone is gonna complain about a mediocre panzer 2 if there are 5 of them on the horizon.... sweet

p.s have you even taken a closer look at the BF2 models? next time your standing next to the MA12 (ingame) have a close look at it.... dont be quick
                          to judge.

Then have fun playing slide show with FH2 then . Well, that is you can play it more than likely but on Low, and then where's all your precious detail now?

                              and learn to spell...it's M1A2 not MA12
omg sorry teach! lol i forgot "cuz" was in the dictionary... geez just shows the depth of your maturity - and what kind of comment is that "get more RAM" YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKIN ABOUT. my comment was that it will run well WITHOUT A RAM UPGRADE. any mod will run well with upgraded HARDWARE (not just ram lol) so how is your comment in any way informative to the rest of the gaming public and for that fact the people creating this mod?.... i suggest u get yourself a copy of 3dsMAX and learn how these things work before posting again
