Well, heres a reality check for you bud, she left a link to donate to the red cross which thus, helps the red cross help the people in pakistan. All communities of all types do this, its not about an ego check or stuff like that, Laike left a link TO THE RED CROSS, for people to do there and donate money, I'm sure the people in pakistan thank for that eh?

So yea animal, it is making a cause to them.

Here's the reality check, bro... The wonderful Red Cross hides behind the guise of a non-profit organization all the while soaking in huge profits. Have you forgotten about their 9/11 mismanagement and the amount of money that was donated that never got to the victims in the form of aid? Ask yourself how a non-profit organization can have a CEO that hits a 7 figure salary. Ask yourself why the Red Cross makes these promotional videos showing all of the beautiful children that you're helping when you donate blood but they never tell you how much they CHARGE hospitals for the blood that they SELL to them. Oh, and just another little point of contention... None of us needed a link to the Red Cross to know where to find it for donations. They have one of the best funded public relations departments you'll ever see. You can't flip through five channels without seeing an ad begging for blood or donations. Again, donations that fund that 7 figure salary at the top and the hoards of other 6 and 7 figure salaries in upper management. If you really wanted all of your donations to get to the victims that need it most, you should give to Catholic Charities. They will tell you exactly what gets allocated where. Unlike the Red Cross who would be ashamed if you found out how their donations get allocated. While you say it's not about an ego check, I disagree. We all know where to go if we want to help. And we all should help in some way. There's no nation like donation...

It really is heartening when you see the whole world rushing in to help Pakistan in dealing with this calamity. If there is anything good coming out of this tragedy, it is the good will of people from all over the world chipping in to help the people in need.

I want to commend countries like India and Israel who were one of the first to offer help and China and Iran as well. Most people would love to give U.S.A a hard time for not doing enough in other calamities but i want to make it clear that USA along with United Kingdom has stepped up to the plate and are doing a LOT to help Pakistan quake victims.

So much so that the USA along with Saudi Arabia have formed a "virtual Air Bridge" to Pakistan with relief goods. England wasted no time to help us. This gesture gives me a lot of hope that no matter what our differences are, we're still part of the global community and will help each other. God Bless us all and thank you for all those who have donated in cash and kind. Please pray for the victims.

Used to all sorts of **** happening, taught one thing in life: You live only once, you can waste it worring about others ( uselessly like this I'm an angel post) or you can look after yourself and care about yourself and enjoy the small amount
of life we get.

You were doing real well with this post till you said give it to a catholic charity. Here's a thought....maybe the U.S. in all it's greatness should pay off it's debt before sending money? The truth is sending money to India and Pakistan is as much as a political ploy as it is a humanitarian one. Unfortunately. Regardless, the people still need help and I'm sure it's appreciated...somewhere.

I to am from Pakistan and i am really sad what happened. Thank God that none of my family members got hurt, most of them live in a city called Sialkot, but i also donated to my local mosque.

Well bud, u r wrong right there because if you read through all pages you will find at least 5 Pakistanis people. These 5 people are gonna tell 50 other people about it and do something good for a cause so I would appreciate if you dont post in this manner. Being a Pakistani i am proud of what they are doing to help other people.

Well, since this is a site based in a Democratic nation. I'll state my 2 cents. It is tragic yes, but Pakistan is the leader in anti-american politics and hosts more terrorists than anywhere in the world. And I GD guarantee you they were firing off thier AKs and getting busy with thier goats when KAtrina hit the NO. SO, for the innocent children hurt and killed, I feel much sympathy for. But for the SOB's hurt or killed taht would get thier rocks off beheading me or my Buddy keeping watch at the Syrian border right now, I hope the pain is extreme and everlasting.......Point Blank

O, and the last known Location of 8itchmade Bin Laden was Tehran, Iran. Some double agents in the Iranian SS claimed to have had meetings with him. Anywho, back on topic.
It seems like the whole world is being punished badly with the recent viscious Hurricanes and another one on it's way. An earthquake killing 80,000+ people, the Tsunami which kille nearly a quater of a million people, now the new "plague" of brid flu about to wipe half of the country out, which I think is a big load of tish tash. They say it will mutate...what do they know? It's not like they are biological scientists that have been preparing and studying this type of thing for the best part of 30 years. Tsh ah well. Who's coming rading the warehouse that has the anti-viral tablets??
