as horrid as it sounds hopefully this will direct some much needed attention to that region... it will also be interesting to see how india reacts

the worst thing is that when tradjedies happen in this region the casualties are always three or four fold to that in a first world environment.

Can't imagine for a minute what it must be like over there Everyone must make an effort to help in any way they can imo.

In regards to Osama Bin La La and the Talibannies :
Don't know my geography around that region very well, but I thought Osama was cooped up between the mountainous regions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Thank You Total BF2 and Members!

I am from Pakistan and living in the USA. The Capital city (Islamabad) is where the two 10 story Apartment buildings collapsed and that city is about 60 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake. Spent my childhood in that city and am truly saddened by this tragedy. Just spoke to some of my relatives and thank God they're ok and in fact helping others in trouble by providing them with food, medicines etc.

All i want to say is im truly proud to be a forum member of Total BF2 who have shown that not only in BF2 they PWN but also when it comes to helping others, regardless of religion. Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.

Im with you bro, i used to live in a small town near islamabad, I am also very glad that my family is fine. But ain all this saddness my dear friend from my childhood has died. Whats even worse is that i cant even go back and help out his family as they also were not able to survive. Its just a sad sad tragedy. The best thing we can do from here is Pray and Hope they can rebuild.

And about someone talking about india helping pakistan. India and Pakistan have forgotten their long rivalry to help each other out in this time of sadness, it just goes to show the humanity of the folks living there. There is not a single person sitting in there home right now in pakistan, they are all outside helping.

Lets keep our cools and be respectful, at the very least in respect for the thousands who have lost their lives, and the hundreds of thousands who have lost some one close. If you cannot behave yourself, don't post please.

Good post ..the world is suffering so many natural causes ..wonder if it all because of our polution detroying the couche d'ozon ( i dont know the word in english)

see tetonic plates.

see natural weather cycle.

see that people are now living where they were not 100 years ago.

see that there were more hurricanes in 1901, then go about your a la carte reliogous happy go lucky game playing life safe in the knowledge that your just a worms dinner cooking in the crock pot of life.

So replying to someone referring to mother nature as a coherant entity regarding their senseless post and poor spelling is out of bounds? OK, I can deal with that...=) Everyone with any kind of conscience feels bad for those victims of the quake. I just think that expressing sorrow in a forum is alot like offering best wishes to a coworker in a card that everyone passes around. You do it because it makes you look better in the eyes of others. No one from Pakistan is in here reading this post and having a better day because of it. No disrespect, just a reality check.

I would just like to say that I think it's great what the BF2 community is doing. It just goes to show how much of a family is here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were unfortunate in this tradegy.

Well, heres a reality check for you bud, she left a link to donate to the red cross which thus, helps the red cross help the people in pakistan. All communities of all types do this, its not about an ego check or stuff like that, Laike left a link TO THE RED CROSS, for people to do there and donate money, I'm sure the people in pakistan thank for that eh?

So yea animal, it is making a cause to them.

I myself am from Pakistan, and I have a lot of family there. A lot of them live near Islamabad, but luckily, none of them got hurt. The worst that's happened to my family over there is property damage.
