man that thing was crazy fast. You know why? because most of the fusalage was made out of wood lol.

No, its made out of steel almost entirely because of heat. Only the front of the wings and fins etc. are made of titanium, rest is steel.

lol, while I was reading it, I was like....Yes!! Russians beat the world in building the fastest jet(I'm Russian)....but then it's like...the engines need to be replaced after each flight....DAMN IT!!..that's not very good
