Are you sure thats the fastest? I thought the Raptor can go faster than that.
The Raptor can go like Super duper Sonic right? Going faster than 1200 without after burners. -

Yea thats the fastest dude. I played Ace Combat 5 and thats the fastest plane in there.
F-22 can reach Supersonic speed without afterburners but that doesnt mean its the fastest.Comment

Its not faster then anything America has got. Air combat isnt about Speed as it used to be. Mostly about range and attack angles. Raptor 22 will own it.
The Foxbat can go 1,865 mph which is pretty crazy. And its not even new. Its around 50 years old.
The SR-71 Blackbird which doesnt even have missiles, goes 2,193.167 mph.
For a fighter aircraft, 1,865 mph is pretty intense.
Anyway, its not that good. Old technology with strong engines.
They actually found one in Iraq desert, under sand lol

It was never intented to be a fighter, it was designed to counter the XB-70 Valkyrie threat. I mean, a Mach 3 bomber is also pretty insane. The US Valkyrie project was cancelled, but the sovs thought that a Mach 3 interceptor would always be a good thing to have in the backhand.Comment

Well the Foxbat was designed as an interceptor, the Foxhound is a bit better technically speaking but this is still a very strong interceptor... Oh yeah and btw the YF-12 Version of the Blackbird carried 4 Falcon missiles, that was also an interceptor but more a prototype.Originally posted by Al3xComment
