Shattered Faith Mod Update

Shattered Faith posted a huge update, with ingame screenshots, and images from Epoch 1 and 2.

We’ve got over the major technical humps in development, and over the next few weeks our news posts should be more regular. We have a major overhaul to the site graphics coming soon, along with the long promised spotlight series on development! Our two music composers have been doing a wonderful job on the original soundtrack for SF, which we’ll also give a glimpse of shortly. On to the shots!

Shattered Faith also welcomes Foi, meat_helmet, and Emperor_Chuck to their team. If you're an animator or a texture artist looking for a job, than Shattered Faith wants you. Drop by their website and send them an email with your examples, remember to bring your talent and your passion.
Check out the full update here.

            M16 doesn't look good....they should've used the BF2's one....what's the difference?....but the rest is pretty good

Models in general don't look that great.

Well I'm very much looking forward to this mod, this team was behind Galactic Conquest for BF1942 which changed BF1942 into a starwars mod that was in my opinion better than SW: Battlefront.

hmmmm... i went to their site and had a mosie... the stuff is okish? i thought the female model looked a little unattractive (hips and knees look so wrong in combination with out of proportion head crooked in uncomfortable aim position hehehe) and the colours were a little vibrant on uniforms. i like all the night stuff (work that lighting baby) and the invader ship looks awesome (have to see it ingame though) just the unkitted up player models look funny (like the kitted one though adds more volume to midsection of characters). cant wait to see what the enemy looks like in this game!

                      Hello all!

About the player models: The ones you see in the screenshots are in full their full polygon ammount. But what might be throwing people off are the textures and how the models themselves are skinned on the player's bone stucture. These are still undergoing testing to get them working just right. And like the pictures say, still WIP:)

This has been the argument since day one(wip), when are we going to see finished work(which, will hopefully look as good as other mod's WIP's)?

When we have finished work to show you. That's really a silly question. The word WIP is not used as a way to immune ourselves from criticism, we want all we can get. But the fact remains, it is not done, and most of the obvious problems will be fixed.

But why would you show WIP's if they didn't look good enough to show, without a disclaimer? It just seems silly. If work is half done, you shouldn't show it.
