I don't think bug ridden belongs in the sentence. Now, the "hype" may SAY it's going to be bug ridden...but I doubt it will be.

Let's get this straight. Dice SWEDEN works on BF2. Dice CANADA works on BF2:SF .

That explains it then. I've known for a while that Dice Canada just aren't as good as Dice Sweden.

Dice Sweden - Battlefield 1942 - Smash hit. Awesome fun, the mod community exploded.
Dice Canada - Battlefield Vietnam - New stuff to play with I guess. I wasn't captivated as much as I was with 1942.
Dice Sweden - Battlefield 2 - 1,000,000 copies sold within a month.
Dice Canada - Battlefield 2: Special Forces - Not worthy of the 'Expansion pack' title. Semi-polished mod more like.

Bit of a pattern there. Leave the work to professionals, lads.

I will be cautious and wait for reviews. Only advantage I can see to a EA offical mod is that it will be supported under stats recording, while other mods might not be able to take advantage of that. But who cares if the mod is good, than it will be played.
Also waiting for a beta screenshot shot of any mod that can do the jump-slide lines to shoot and gas attacks maybe.

i think people are forgetting this is taken on low settings and they think it will look like this on ultra high settings.

i hope they take the crosshair off the rpg

after a second look i find that there is no such rocket as in bf2sf what i think that it is a scenario where spetznaz tryes to stop the lounch of a rocket build by some rebels...
but it shure looks alot like Ariane 4 thow a bit shorter:P
