Those screeshots of the Delta IV rocket are kind of curious. It appears as though its being launched from a half constructed launch facility.

nope its not Delta 4 rocket:

its rather an Ariane Rocket from ESA

but its russian against.... someone so it supposed to be a Soyuz rocket or other Russian one... ( nice site abut them: http://www.russianspaceweb.com/rockets_launchers.html )

They might as well go ahead and call this Battlefield 2: <insert spy movie/game/novel> Rip Off. All of this looks like a rip off of some Hollywood rendition of how these things go. All hype I say. Bring on the mods I say, they'll surpass this.

Yep, you're right. How embarassing too, given my employer and having spoken to someone at Arianespace last week. I was too lazy to open up the full sized image.

In screens 27 & 48 there are strange black lines that seem to go off into the distance, this happens to me. Can anyone tell me what this is??????????
I looked and tried drivers and heat issues and everything and cant figure what they are. I have an x800xtpe pci and its fully cranked in game and it runs well but often I get these lines. Have latest drivers and all that. I think its to do with AA but not sure. Xperienced similar things in Hl2 when AA was cranked. I do believe tho that I have gotten them with AA turned off.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

i think that is the line, cant remember what its called right now. the line that the guys shoots down from the roof to get down to the ground in the SF gameplay, its not a glitch.

i think everyone will by this expansion in hopes it will correct alot of the in game flaws and hopefully bring polish to a very good game just heavily flawed at the moment with bugs and interface issues that can be fixed through serious patching.. i do however am i bit taken back with the awful patch performance and the having to go with the hot fix.. they still went ahead with this expansion release instead of holding back a bit and workin on the core product to ensure the fan base will stay..however it goes to show what happens when companies are capable of makin a serious game that can bring so much to the table however get side tracked by dollar signs and greed..

Let's get this straight. Dice SWEDEN works on BF2. Dice CANADA works on BF2:SF .

dont shout! thease lines are caused by either:
- overclocking
- moding the card
- overheating
- poor powersupply
- drivers
- marcians.
i got such lines when i overclocked my gf 6800 if u never done it than ur ati might be overheating - try to clean the radiators from dust. If u ever overclocked then there is a slight chance that u've broken uour graphic card
if options 1 to 5 dont work try considering option 6.

after a second look i find that there is no such rocket as in bf2sf what i think that it is a scenario where spetznaz tryes to stop the lounch of a rocket build by some rebels...
but it shure looks alot like Ariane 4 thow a bit shorter:P
