BF2SF seems like a comedy game to me, I mean; Grappling Hooks stolen from a James Bond set, jet ski's, zip lines, crossbows..

Why does EA release screens with less than highest quality settings on? The textures look like crap, and there's little or no AA. They did that with BF2, too...odd. Ex: look at the newest batch of screens in the screenshot section on the official BF2 website. It's on like low detail and it looks awful..

Personally, I don't fall for the screenshots anymore. Remember the screenies for BF2, they looked nothing like the game. For starters, some moron down in the art department played with everything trying to make it look "fun", but it ends up looking like a crappy comic book. I'm sure the game will look better...but what about the patch?

Why is that one solider wearing a gas mask? Is there a chemical or biological attack going on the map? If no i think it looks silly.

i dunno why they show it with those settings, but they look 100x better than what mines look like..my PC is awful, 512 DDR 166 ram or something crap like that, some reason source runs like an african but BF2 is crap on my comp... so im building anew one by christmas

It's called the SAS

Just a sterotypical view of the SAS uniforms. You could question why the SAS in the old Counter Strike games had gas masks.
