The classic Vietnam based mod for BF1942, <a href="http://www.eodmod.com/forum/portal.php">Eve of Destruction</a> mod have finally released some new renders and in-game screenshots, this time featuring the V-100 vehicle.<blockquote>First released in BF1942, the V-100 has been ported into the BF2 engine and completely re-skinned. Looks pretty cool. However, I guess I don't understand the purple looking sky in the background. Maybe a post apacolyptic moment? Still cool none the less.

I didn't say the render was beautiful. the bf42 version was awesome so i believe in this mod even if the vehicles looks poor.

I am really happy to see a newsupdate from EOD, it has been a while. But it seems like this update wasnt very well planned.

It looks to me like the render was done in a 'user' window in max instead of the perspective window, the result is a less than square looking vehicle. It also looks like more detail should be added to the vehicle/skin to get it up to bf2 standards.

I am a big fan of EOD and hope to see more regular updates from them in the future.

despite the renders im still probably gonna dl this, even if the graphics stay the way they are. EOD's gameplay was rock solid, but i do expect more from this mod team

I had some of my best and most intense games in BF42 with EOD. Great infantry combat. Their sounds were amazing as well. Can't wait for EOD!

I really liked their mod for BF42 and BFV but that model and texture are really pathetic for the level they can do.
